Reduction of Storm Water. Other Information:
We recommend a consideration of a reduction to the Storm Water Department for FY 2012. While the issue of reducing contract
authorizations for the Storm Water Department has been discussed at some length at the Natural Resources & Culture Committee,
we attribute Storm Water Budget cuts in part to ongoing efforts by the City and other “co-permittees” of the municipal storm
water permit to receive compensation from the State for unfunded mandates.
