Multiple comments expressed the need for better search engine optimization (SEO) and use of metadata. Part of the discussion focused around developing best practices for use of metadata and sharing them across the government to improve accessibility of content. A mandated government website template was mentioned as a way to ensure SEO, as well as a “meta sitemap,” or a centralized site map of all government websites.
