Lead Treasury toward a culture of Open Government Other Information:
Certain key officials serve to lead Treasury toward a culture of Open Government.
Stakeholder(s):
- Assistant Secretary for Management and Chief Financial Officer: The Assistant Secretary for Management and Chief Financial Officer has been designated Senior Accountable Official (SAO) for
data quality. In accordance with the Open Government Directive, this official is accountable for the quality and objectivity
of, and internal controls over, the Federal spending information publicly disseminated through such public venues as USAspending.gov
or other similar websites. He has designated two key officials to help implement and build the infrastructure to sustain transparent
and open operations.
- Deputy Chief Financial Officer: The Deputy Chief Financial Officer has been designated the responsibility to develop and implement the framework for data
quality. The official will participate in Treasury’s Senior Management Council, or similar governance structure, for the agency-wide
internal control assessment pursuant to the Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act.
- Deputy Assistant Secretary for Privacy and Treasury Records: The Deputy Assistant Secretary for Privacy and Treasury Records has been designated the Senior Agency Official for implementing
the Open Government Directive.
