The Body of Knowledge -- All professions have a comprehensive, clearly defined and accessible body of knowledge. In many cases this is also codified. Strategy has an incoherent body of knowledge, making it hard for anyone to study or practise it. Even those within the profession are not agreed upon what the body of knowledge should be. Developing general consensus around a core body of knowledge is an urgent task. It needs to be developed by an international group of senior strategists who represent all stakeholders. This will ensure it has integrity, and will gain global acceptance.
