Finding ways to conserve energy and implement more energy-efficient initiatives are ongoing objectives for SAS. In 2012, SAS installed numerous environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies in new and existing buildings. Approximately 80 percent of our energy use is from electricity. This plays a significant role in steps we take to reduce energy use and emissions in our operations. Renewable energy remains a priority for the company.
