Sports and Recreation -- In order to provide an overall engaging environment and a holistic educational experience, Ryerson will strive to enhance the opportunities and facilities for students to participate in sports and recreation activities. These activities promote the physical well-being of members of the community and help with mental acuity and academic focus, leadership skills, opportunities for building networks of friendship and community engagement. Intramural and varsity sports teams, and access to healthy physical activities, workshops, and seminars, all play an important part in student engagement, success, and retention.
