Mayor Bloomberg established The Mayor's Council on Technology and Innovation, a group of New York City-based leaders who identify
new opportunities for the City and address areas of interest to the technology sector... The Council is currently exploring
a number of public-private partnerships that incentivize the expansion of fiber connectivity for businesses, and welcomes
additional input from the technology sector.
