Tie voter registration to specific issues and invest now to ensure their success and year-round availability. Other Information:
Voter Registration Another concern expressed by those interviewed is the dramatic drop-off in registration efforts conducted
by the RNC and state parties over the last several election cycles. Registration is an expensive process but one that is increasingly
underfunded. We need dynamic and targeted voter registration efforts tied to specific issues, and funds should be invested
now to ensure their success and year-round availability. The Obama campaign registered 1.8 million new voters in the battleground
states since the launch of its 2012 program. In five states, it registered more voters than Obama's margin of victory.
