Outcome: Management decisions are informed by the best available science-based knowledge and tools. Overview: The Forest Service
provides science and technology solutions for clients’ and partners’ priority issues in ways they find effective and useful
for sustainably managing forests and grasslands. To accomplish this goal, Research and Development (R&D) and Technology and
Development (T&D) Centers will focus on the following objectives in this strategic planning period.
