For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations,
but few times recommendations are not implemented.

Data is currently being updated.The recommendations from the fall 2008 and spring 2009 Board Meetings ranged from fairly extensive
and recommedning immediate action and implementation by USDA to more general, strategic planning/future planning types of
general recommendations. They included short- and long-term recommendations; some were related to funding increases, which
may not be fully implemented because of the very tight overall federal budget. The agencies and REE do not have the ability
to receive new increased funding.
