1: Recommandations
The Committee is composed of members with professional knowledge regarding the data needs of the food and fiber sector. It
provides a direct link with the major agricultural organizations and farm groups which could not be as effectively or efficiently
obtained from any other source. The Committee is the primary forum for reconciling the divergent data needs among data user
and provider groups. It is also instrumental in helping NASS provide the maximum value from their statistics, within available
funding, and to continually improve its products and services.
