- Acting as a networking hub for leadership programs, the NLC is a center of ideas, activities, leadership development programs,
leadership recognition programs, and a leadership/policy think-tank. Within the context of a uniquely Alaskan landscape, the
NLC looks inward to cultivate leadership among those with greatest potential at UAF. The center reaches outward to communities
throughout the state and—as it expands beyond our state borders, to offer leadership development and to support the work of
other programs to ensure that the leadership needs of Alaska are fulfilled.
