- The TAC will provide technical advice to the Federal Communications Commission and make recommendations on the issues and
questions presented to it bythe FCC. The TAC will also address questions that are referred to the Council by the FCC Chairman,
or by the FCC Chief Technologist or Chief Engineer. The questions directed to TAC will relate to technological and technical
issues in the field of communications. TAC members will conduct the necessary research and, otherwise, gather the information
necessary to carry out these activities.
