Although the Board makes some more formal type presentations during their face-to-face meetings as a mechanism of sharing
further detail and information on their thoughts, they generally write their "decision maker" approximately 4 times per year
and often make one overarching presentation to them in order to communicate further feedback provided in any one summary letter
prior to the discussion (NOTE: Not done in this past year due to the lack of consistency in position to be filled). Although
the ELAB did not present recommendations this fiscal year, they are always in the areas of improvement from tasks that have
been dispersed from the Forum on Environmental Measurements (FEM) or in the overall successful self-sufficiency of the National
Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) with greater participation across the nation.
