Some data sets can be range upward to several hundred megabytes. Their large size can undermine their usefulness for most
people or organizations. Also large numbers of data sets can make it difficult to find particular data of interest. Data should
be searchable by topic. A way to bring together data from different sources on similar topics is also important. The Department
will explore available techniques such as the use of tagging or metadata to enable the public to aggregate information on
specific topics.
