Strategies: * Balance complementing strategies of directed enforcement, compliance assistance and partnerships and collaborations. * Provide outreach and education to increase awareness of employment laws among employers, employees and other stakeholders. * Improve data collection processes.

Stakeholder(s):

• ESA Wage and Hour Division: Protecting the most vulnerable workers’ wages and hours will continue to be a key focus of the Department. Low-wage industries that employ large numbers of vulnerable workers, including young workers, are characterized by relatively high violation rates of minimum wage, overtime and child labor requirements.
