Explore ways to build open government into our human resources and talent management practices. Other Information:
The culture of our organization is influenced by a number of factors including how we recruit, onboard, train, and retain
employees. In order to ensure that our commitment to open government is reflected at all stages of employment, we will identify
ways to build an open government component into the Department’s new employee orientation and on-boarding process; incorporate
clear open government goals into performance standards for applicable employees; and develop employee training programs covering
various aspects of open government. Timeline for Action: December 2010
