- The committee supports the FBI's mission and strategic plan by advising the Director of the FBI on criminal justice information
services issues. Through a nationwide network of working groups and subcommittees, the committee members represent local,
tribal, state, and federal law enforcement and criminal justice agencies throughout the country. The law enforcement community
shares the management responsibilities for our critical national criminal justice information systems. These systems are the
Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System, Law Enforcement National Data Exchange, Law Enforcement Online, National
Crime Information Center, National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and Uniform Crime Reporting.
