Description There are sometimes a few proposals which were not funded in their entirety, those few being scaled back from their original level of requested funding (allowable under the program). This is not a precise number for a number of reasons: Recommendations made to Congress and the President concern legislative matters that Congress has not addressed and are outside of the scope of Agency or reference ongoing work and are already underway or implemented. Recommendations made to OJJDP are often broad in scope and repeated from year to year or have concerned the operation of the FAC itself.
