Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. NISC staff estimates 55% of ISAC Recommendations that have been fully implemented at the broader departmental level. However, NISC is comprised of 11 members that oversee and over 30 federal agencies. Implementation of ISAC recommendations often require several agencies working together with non-federal partners over a period of years. Therefore, the degree of implementation of each recommendation specifically cannot be determined. NISC Staff do track overall implementation of recommendations at the broader Departmental level, they cannot track implementation of each recommendation among all of the Federal programs involved with invasive species issues.
