- There were no meetings held this year due to the fact that Agency resources and management attention was focused on the Deepwater
Horizon Incident and the subsequent reorganization of BOEMRE.This Committee provides policy advice representing the viewpoint
of the states, Indians, mineral industry and other parties to the Secretary through the Director. This advice is directly
related to the ability of the Department to obtain optimal value by ensuring that all revenues from Federal and Indian mineral
leases are efficiently, effectively and accurately collected, accounted for, and disbursed to States, Indians and the Federal
Treasury.
