In FY11, the RAC had two formal recommendations. The RAC recommended to the BLM to proceed with creation of an ATV site on
the Bug Slope ATV area (site #4). The RAC also recommended to the BLM and the Secretary, through a formal letter, to review
the process for hazardous fuels funding as they felt the process was inbalanced. Since the inception of the RAC in 1995, it
has made several recommendations on a variety of topics including rangeland standards and guidelines, recreation standards
and guidelines, recreation fees, mineral withdrawal continuation on the Lower Salmon River, noxious weeds, off-highway-vehicles,
land exchanges, and recreation fee proposals for the BLM and U.S. Forest Service.
