Description There are sometimes a few proposals which were not funded in their entirety, those few being scaled back from their original level of requested funding (allowable under the program). At the March meeting, the RAC members provided suggestions for changes to the draft language of the Proposed Interim Grazing-Related Wilderness Access Guidelines under development for newly designated wilderness areas with existing grazing permits in the Owyhee and Bruneau Field Offices. The RAC recommended BLM coordinate with the Owyhee Initiative Board on what is practicable regarding this document and the guidance forthcoming. At the last September meeting, the RAC agreed to move forward with several actions to provide BLM with input from all four RAC's in the state on increasing collaborative management to reduce the current fire cycle on public land.
