As access to data by citizens becomes more common, a number of issues will arise: * There will be a significant increase in
the number of requests for information from the public. Funding for the administrative costs of dealing with these requests
will often not be forthcoming, making it an unfunded mandate. * There is real danger that data accessed from disparate government
sources will allow citizens to draw erroneous conclusions wrapped in a cloak of legitimacy. Such a scenario could seriously
harm the legitimacy of future data sharing efforts.
