The Board supports the Agency's strategic goal #4, which states: Contribute to the public health, emergency management, socioeconomic
well-being, and history of the Nation. More specifically, it supports VA's Health Services Research and Development goal,
which is to identify and evaluate innovative strategies that lead to accessible, high quality, cost effective health care
for all Veterans.
