1.4: Chief FOIA Officer Meetings

Convene quarterly meetings of Chief FOIA Officers to exchange ideas, promote the goals of the President’s and the Attorney General’s directives and sustain the commitment to openness and transparency.

Other Information:

Given the Department’s leadership role in the FOIA, the Associate Attorney General, who is the highest‐ranking Chief FOIA Officer in government, will convene quarterly meetings of Chief FOIA Officers from the largest agencies to exchange ideas, promote the goals of the President’s and the Attorney General’s directives and sustain the commitment to openness and transparency. These meetings will begin concurrently with the issuance of this Plan.
