The strategic plan outlines performance indicators in all three areas of UNDP work: management, coordination, and programming. In relation to management and coordination, the majority of performance targets relate to results for which UNDP is primarily accountable. On the coordination side, there are processes and initiatives that will require joint or collaborative efforts with other United Nations organizations, and the targets in these areas should be seen as purposeful rather than strictly controllable.
