What does the National Urban League do to ensure that "every American has access to quality and affordable health care solutions"?
The National Urban League's Health and Quality of Life Division works to eliminate health disparities through a four (4) prong
strategy: * Health Education and Awareness * Access to High Quality Healthcare * Advocacy for and the Mobilization of Communities
to eliminate barriers to wellness and a better quality of life * The development of Signature Programs - those that are replicable,
sustainable, and national in scope. These programs work to empower individuals and communities and improve systems that support
and contribute to better health outcomes and better quality of life. To date, more than 95,000 people have been exposed to
NUL's health and wellness programs and activities-supporting the goal of ensuring everyone has access to quality health care
solutions.
