Exploring the feasibility of a solar power facility. Other Information:
The ACT Government, in partnership with ActewAGL, is undertaking a feasibility study for a large-scale solar power facility
in the ACT. The study will examine location, size, current technologies, costs of construction and operation, cost–benefit
analysis, social equity and planning requirements. The aim of such a plant, if it were introduced, would be to generate sufficient
solar energy to power large numbers of homes and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
