The ACT Government is undertaking detailed planning for the construction of an energy-efficient and environmentally sensitive
ACT Government office building. Financial analysis to date presents a strong case for the new building, which would house
many functions currently dispersed throughout the city, enhancing efficiency and productivity. According to the financial
analysis, constructing a new building is more cost-effective than the current leasing arrangements.
