A study on options for the upgrade of the existing Canberra Theatre is evaluating current capacity and technical constraints, siting, the case for enhancing the existing facility versus developing a new facility, and the benefits of completing the project in time for the centenary of Canberra celebrations. The study, coordinated by artsACT, is due to be completed by September 2008.
