Increase interest in and knowledge of sustainable development starting in pre-schools Other Information:
Since people’s attitudes and lifestyles are established at an early age, the work of increasing their interest in and knowledge
of sustainable development starts in pre-schools in Sweden. This learning is then reinforced throughout the official education
system. Pupils and students are encouraged to have a say and take responsibility. All publicly financed education, up to postgraduate
studies, is free of charge for pupils and students in Sweden.
