Strengthen SBA’s entrepreneurial education, counseling and training resources to help create new businesses and support the needs of existing businesses by successfully focusing on core program resources and ensuring these resources are aligned with the needs of both Main Street and High Growth Small Businesses.

Performance Indicators: * Small Businesses Created. Number of new businesses created through SBDCs, Women’s Business Centers and SCORE. The long-term goal from Fiscal Year 2011 through Fiscal Year 2014 is to help create 37,000 small businesses. * Small Businesses Assisted. Number of businesses assisted through Women’s Business Centers and SCORE. * Long-Term Counseling Clients. Number of long-term counseling clients of SBDCs. * Capital Infusion. Dollar value of capital infusion that SBDCs helped to secure for their clients.
