Design world-class online courses for post-secondary students.

Other Information:

The President is proposing to invest up to $500 million over the next 10 years to create world-class online courses available at community colleges for students to gain knowledge, skills and credentials. These courses will be freely available, and enable students to extend learning opportunities and successfully complete their course work. Colleges, universities, publishers, and other groups will be invited to compete to create state-of-the-art online courses that combine high-quality subject matter expertise with the latest advances in cognitive and computer sciences.
