Promote gender equality

Other Information:

Norwegian legislation stipulates that all public institutions in Norway must take active steps to promote gender equality. The Research Council bears national responsibility for research policy-related activities to analyse and develop gender research, gender perspectives as well as gender equality in research. The Council is also responsible for initiating, implementing and monitoring research activities within this field.
