6.6.1: Senior Leadership

Encourage states to assign responsibility for educational technology to senior-level individuals who will provide leadership in connecting the planning for educational and information technology to the core functions of curriculum and instruction, assessment, and professional learning and in ensuring that the most efficient and effective purchases are made.

Other Information:

These individuals will be invited to participate on a cross-functional team organized by the Department of Education to share insights and best practices and collaborate on technology for teaching and learning.
