NASA’s workforce must be able to take advantage of new mobile technologies in the marketplace. Virtual collaboration has become
a common expectation nationally and globally, and as these technologies improve, the need for expensive in-person meetings
will continue to decrease. We will improve our enterprise-wide network management and provide sufficient capacity and reliability
to support NASA’s increasing mission-related data transfer requirements. The communications infrastructure will use a combination
of commercial and private entities to enable the delivery of data, voice, and video services across the Agency.
