Develop grassroots education/outreach program for NAGARA in order for members to advocate and influence decision-makers at all levels of government.

Other Information:

The purpose of the program is to: a) inform officials of existence, benefits and value of NAGARA, b) their role/responsibilities in supporting archives and records management, and c) encouragement of supporting their archives and records management professionals in joining the association. Cite results of 2009 Federal Agency Self-Assessments on Records Management [79% of agencies at high (36%) or moderate (43%) risk of improper destruction of records].
