Towards More Practical IT Education -- The most effective means of developing IT human resources capable of functioning in
industry workplaces is for universities, vocational colleges and such to provide practical IT education designed to be useful
on the job. Recent surveys have shown that those who have received a practical education are useful in their business activities
to corporations. For this reason, the IPA is forging industry-university partnerships to create a framework for practical
IT education. By providing information-related faculties and disciplines at universities with information on practical curriculum
made in collaboration with corporations as well as a broad range of know-how, the IPA seeks to create an environment in which
the effects can be seen as quickly as possible.
