Increase and improve communication Other Information:
Measures: coverage in news media, references to UNU-IIST on the web, hits to UNU-IIST web page. Effective external communication
is essential to increase the impact of UNU-IIST activities and to increase support for the institute within Macau. Internal
communication is necessary to increase linkages with the other institutes within UNU and with other UN agencies. UNU-IIST
will develop and implement a strategic communication plan, including hiring a media and communications officer.
