6.1.1: Committee on Freedom and Responsibility

Establish a new Standing Committee on Freedom and Responsibility in the Conduct of Science.

Other Information:

A new Standing Committee on Freedom and Responsibility in the Conduct of Science will be established to take on a broader remit than the previous Standing Committee on Freedom in the Conduct of Science. In addition to continuing with case work in relation to the free association of scientists, it will be charged with working with ICSU Members to identify, discuss and advise on broader issues affecting Universality.
