Title VI of the Fair Housing Act requires federal agencies to ensure that their programs provide equal opportunity in housing.
This new strategic objective focuses on the cross-cutting nature of fair housing issues and invigorates the Department’s compliance
enforcement activities, including accessibility of housing for persons with disabilities under Section 504.
