Other Information: GSA’s Public Building Services collaborates with state and local governments to execute its work. For example, GSA was tasked with building a U.S. Courthouse in Greenville, S.C., and collaborated with the city of Greenville to identify potential building issues. GSA also conducted a meeting and involved the public in the decision-making process. GSA similarly collaborated with the city of Miramar, town of Davie, and Broward County when commissioned to build a federal building in south Florida. When developing a soil risk assessment around a U.S. Courthouse in Mobile, Ala., GSA collaborated with the state to gain approval of its risk assessment.
