GSA collaborates with federal agencies to develop and implement governmentwide policies. GSA develops policies to improve the federal government’s management in the areas of aircraft, mail, motor vehicles, personal property, relocation, transportation, and travel. GSA’s Center for Policy Evaluation evaluates implementation of governmentwide policy and the policy’s effectiveness at each federal agency level. GSA evaluates the adoption of best practices and innovative tools that enable federal managers to prudently manage their assets. These collaborative efforts help determine whether agencies can achieve the outcomes intended by these policies. The results of the governmentwide policy review are published in the Center for Policy Evaluation's governmentwide report, which is available at www.gsa.gov/cpe.
