Improve the Service’s IT Investment Management (ITIM) processes.

Other Information:

Increase the effectiveness of investments in information resources and technology. The Government Accountability Office has developed an ITIM model that recognizes five stages of an organization’s ability to manage its IT investments. The Department will use that model to work with Bureaus to improve IT investment management processes and to measure progress.
