Evaluate gaps or capabilities to be improved and prioritize one or more to be addressed through an investment of new funds
or realignment of existing resources.
Other Information:
Whether addressing gaps at the programmatic or enterprise levels, ensure that enterprise needs are considered. Prioritize
the selection based on: * Breadth of impact across the enterprise * Impact of the gap on the accomplishment of agency business
* Relevance of the gap to outstanding POA&M items. Addressing these items is important because agencies must report the status
of POA&M corrective actions to OMB along with associated risks.
