ED currently supports both an annual paper published source of program information (the Guide to Education Programs) and real-time,
web-based source of program information. This dual system is inefficient and increases the risk of outdated information, threatening
transparency. Assuming resources are approved to fund this project, ED will integrate these two programs in 2011. o July -
