Establish a single searchable Web site for federal spending data. Other Information:
USASPENDING.GOV - Background. The Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 established the requirement
for the Office of Management and Budget to establish a single searchable Web site for federal spending data at USASpending.gov.
Beginning with data from FY 2007, the site includes certain identification award data for the following types of federal awards:
contracts (including purchase orders and task/delivery orders), grants and cooperative agreements (and other forms of financial
assistance), subcontracts, subgrants and loans.
