NEXT STEPS AND MILESTONES - Our long term objective is to institutionalize Data.gov population as part of existing/normal business processes by leveraging and building upon existing policy and processes, and enabling execution and authority at the lowest possible level for efficiency. Critical next steps in accomplishing our objectives are: • Assigning Component roles and responsibilities in authoritative memoranda and other issuances, and • Building and formalizing processes and tools to accomplish activities previously described (especially those addressing data aggregation risks).
