CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE - There are many existing programs and Internet presences you can use to learn more about the Department of Defense, its leadership and operation, and to connect with service members. For example, www.defense.gov/news has a wide range of regularly-updated news items, and http://www.pentagonchannel.mil/ has video of events with the Department’s top leadership. We also sponsor conferences for civilian public opinion leaders to learn more about the Department, conduct tours of the Pentagon and offer direct exposure to service members and Department equipment with flyovers, musical performances and displays all across the country.
